Annual inspections

We are authorized to carry out Annual inspections for microlights requiring them;

There are two types of microlight aircraft.

  • Class 1 microlight has one seat
  • Class 2 microlight has two seats.

Microlight aircraft can be factory-built, amateur- built or assembled from kitsets but they still operate under the same rules

All microlight aircraft must be registered with the CAA.

Gyrocopters can be classed as microlight aircraft.

All Class 2 microlight aircraft require a flight permit. They must have logbooks for the aircraft, engine, propeller, and the relevant Airworthiness Directives.
Microlights cannot be operated without an annual condition inspection that can be conducted by an authorized microlight inspector, or an appropriately qualified licensed engineer.

after checking the compliance of the aircraft they will issue a sticker that must be placed in a visible position on the aircraft.

Call Wayne to make a booking for your next Annual and combine it with servicing and other work if you wish.
